From October 2020, a month after I got the R5, I headed over to the Cairngorms for some wildlife, in particular booking myself into a red squirrel hide.

This is one of the perches we used to place nuts on the for the squirrels and I quite liked this image as it looks like the squirrel is looking for the nut.

there is a whimsical feeling to this photo that i like very much, nick.

Love the composition. I have the bad habit of over-cropping. Your composition is beautiful.
Thanks very much Brian, for me the purpose of the day I spent here was to show the squirrels in their habitat and hopefully with an autumnal feel. Not that I would, however if I had decided to crop into this image then it would lose all sense of place (if that makes sense).

Makes excellent sense Nick. It was the main thing that I liked about the image. Its not just a photo.
