My first attempt was to keep it simple using Circular, before attempting anything like Pep Ventosa - "In The Round". I am going to attempt other styles of ICM and see if it "works" for me.

The setup was simple. Place the vase of flowers on a piece of black paper on the floor next to an open light source. Place the camera on a tripod and pointed directly down at the flowers. Adjust the exposure to allow a slow, but not too slow shutter. For this photo I chose to used a lens with a tripod collar, that way I just twist the camera during exposure and yet the camera is still stable on the focal plane.

Thanks Dean. Great first attempt. I have made a note to attempt this on the next rainy or real miserable day when I can’t take my camera for a walk.

A good lens for what it does, with it's drawbacks
I have had this lens since it came out and it is my lightweight go to lens for walking around in the city and using my infrared-converted camera...
