  1. Yes
Please read this simple guide before asking for or providing critique. This will hopefully help to ensure that the critique lounge remains a welcoming, friendly and constructive place.

Asking for Critique

1.
Please only start one thread for the image that you would like critiqued. This thread may contain up to 3 images max and these should only be used for comparison purposes. In other words, please don't post your entire holiday album.

2.
Provide some background information on how you captured the image. What gear was used? What settings? What was the lighting like at the time? Have you processed the image in anyway?

3.
What is it that you like/dislike about the image?

Providing Critique

1.
Only provide friendly and constructive critique that will help members to grow, not bring them down and scare them away. Stay mindful about how your critique will be received.

2.
Before giving feedback, make sure that you fully understand the image and read the information that the member has provided, don’t make assumptions.

3.
If the member hasn't provided enough information in their post for you to help them sufficiently, then ask questions such as what, how, when and why to help them better explain what they are trying to achieve.

4.
Keep feedback specific, measurable and realistic.

5.
Don't get upset if your feedback wasn’t deemed useful, what works for one may not work for another at that point in time.

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
