Was excited to see the announcement of a Lightroom and Camera Raw update this morning, coinciding with the R5ii release. But when I clicked on the Cameras Supported link I saw the R1, but nothing for the R5. Hoping it's just an omission, as I expect are hundreds of others. Perhaps since it's a Mk release they didn't list it. Fingers crossed.

I did see a video on YouTube by someone who stated they'ed opened R52 images in LR. Should have got my Mk2 today but out and its coming tomorrow. No extra battery though it seems in the delivery from Park Cameras.

Interestingly, support is shown on the US Adobe site, but not on the NZ equivalent. Just has a blank line for the R52...

OK, so they're showing

Yeah, I thought I posted this before I went out. The Mark II support came out in last release, but while it was "camera matching" it was not final (the note related to the '6'). I expected to see something specific in the notes for this release but there was nothing. That said, the raw files loaded fine, this morning, as expected. Just need to do some color checking against JPEGs.

Canon has released a DPP update that includes the R5 Mk II

Following up on this. I'm finding the Camera Standard profiles currently in ACR/Lr to be oversaturated and contrasty. I've switched to applying Camera Faithful on import and am getting a much better starting point for my images.

This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
