Rumors R6 III already?

I love my R6II. It's an amazing camera and has all the features that I need and want. I'll reserve final judgement until the official specs and real-world tests are out, but I can't imagine what Canon would put into the R6III that would make me upgrade from the R6II.

I upgraded from the original R6 pretty much for the unlimited video record time. That was the one feature that the R6 didn't have that I really wanted. And I'm perfectly happy with the 24mp sensor. I wouldn't want to trade a higher mp for worse low light capability.

They'd have to come up with something really unique or interesting for me to spend the money on upgrading to the mk III.

I agree. I’m perfectly happy and actually feel like I don’t even touch half the features in the Mark II as it is. No need for more megapixels either. AF is what really gets me going, but the Mark II is pretty tough to beat.

I'll definitely skip Mark 3. I'm holding out for the R7II if it ever comes.

I wonder if the R6 Mk III rumors aren't premature. You're right the spec's aren't compelling for an upgrade. They never are.

From a product standpoint (imo), there needs to a "linger time" to capitalize on the sales of the latest model. Too soon a release and Canon may have lost sales over a longer term prediction.
