Is anyone aware of any issues from installing and running 1.3.1 with a non-Canon adapter (Meike in my case)between the R6 body and an EF lens?

If there are, I can always wait until I can find an adapter by Canon.

I don’t think there are any electronics involved in either aftermarket or Canon adapters. Just a tube with pass through contacts. Don’t see how a firmware change could cause a problem

Probably correct. I was concerned because I was using a Meike and thought I saw a post somewhere claiming problems (and of course couldn’t find the post again to look closer at it).
