Yes, thanks for posting this. My local camera shop has an R5 II waiting for me now, and I need to decide within 48 hours. $4300 plus tax is a big number… I’m still wondering if the R6 II would suit me better, and a Canon refurb R5 I is only $2700.

I have been following Jeff for a while and indeed, he is a good source of information.
 
R1 speed is pretty good (R3 on highspeed plus can do 50ps ) not much use for me as shooting motorsport I set it to low and usually pre focus / one to two shots only.
After reading / watching the reviews so far I am even more convinced it was a 'rush job' and is actually a R3 mkII. Good thing is it's saved me 7k as I wont now be buying one ;-)
