Around six weeks after getting my R5 I headed over to Aviemore, Scotland (I live on the Isle of Skye) with the hope of photographing red squirrels with the autumnal colours.
Myself and a friend booked ourselves into a hide run by Neil McIntyre for the day and as you would expect things started slowly, however the squirrels started coming in for the food and mid afternoon it started raining. It was then a case of waiting for one of the squirrels to go on to one of the preset perches with this one obliging nicely.
R5 & EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L II - f/7.1, 1/500 sec, ISO 2000 (no noise reduction)
