Just got back from a 12 day NYC/Boston MLB trip. Other than flight cancellations and delays, smoke and haze, it was a great trip.
From a photography perspective I tried something new for me. I only took my R6, RF24mm macro 1.8, and my 16mm 2.8. Inexpensive, lightweight, and minimal.
My experience was one of pure joy. Rarely did I take off the 24mm. It has been such a pleasant surprise for me. The 16mm I used on an occasion, but seemed a bit to wide most of the time, but the were a few occasions it came in quite handy. The whole kit and my tiny bag weighed in at a 3 lbs. All items performed admirably.
Here are a few pics of Freedom Tower that I liked even though the lighting was rather harsh most of the time. I had zero issues with the 20mp limitations of the R6. The moment was one of literal and somber reflections.
