RF 24mm - 105mm f4 -f7.1 IS STM Lens

Hi All, having traded in my EF and 3rd party lens's to get the RF 100mm - 500mm f4.5-f7.1 IS USM, I'm looking to cover all bases, and would appreciate any comments and observations about the above lens, both positive and negative.

The 100-500 is the best lens I have ever owned. It is very sharp, focus is quick with the RF body and the focusing is surprisingly close. I routinely use it with the 1.4x teleconverter for bird photography. I find that quite a bit of sharpness is lost with my 2x teleconverter
