The only Cheat Sheet I have found useful.

I like the "Rules of Thirds" as interpreted by photographer Sam Blair.

1/3rd is Concept
1/3rd is Composition
1/3rd in Postprocessing

For example: Fairy Falls is a Fan-Shaped falls.

Concept: I wanted something different rather than the typical full front that all tourist photograph.

Composition: Focusing on just a portion of the falls I composed the shot so the water to flow from the top right though the photo and out the bottom left. Using a 3-stop Neutral Density filter I reduced the available light to obtain a longer exposure.

Postprocessing: I used a brush for increasing exposure in some areas and also decreasing exposure in others (Dodging and Burning).

Good work, and a refreshing take on the overworked rule of thirds.

Your pic doesn't show the fan shape, but it shows a nice cascade of the water.

For me, postprocessing is half the work.
