When driving at top speed round the scurry course, there are three minds at work - the driver's and two ponies'. Things go well when they are in harmony, but occasionally there is a difference of opinion about the right way forward, and then the situation is reminiscent of Prime Minister's Question Time.

Looks like f6.3 is your lens' sweet spot. Impressive pics. 👍
Thank you. Actually the lens is sharp wide open. I am using as wide an aperture as I can for subject separation, but the whole rig from the front of the pony to the back is quite long so I need to stop down a bit to keep the whole subject sharp.
