Bald eagles winter here in SE Texas occasionally so when I see them I try to get a shot. This nest is about 400 yards behind a Target store in a busy area of Houston, the eagles come back every year and the area around the tree they are in is a private wetland area so you can't get any closer to them.

First shot is for some perspective, shot at about 210mm on my R7.
Second shot was with the R7 and Tamron 150-600 zoomed out so technically like 840mm focal length
Final shot, cropped and some adjustments in Lightroom and then run through Topaz Photo AI to improve sharpness and remove noise and also increase pixel count after cropping.

Wish the twigs weren't in front of the momma and chick but I couldn't climb up there to move them!

yes, they do have a tendency to hide behind the branches, particularly when they are breeding

A good lens for what it does, with it's drawbacks
I have had this lens since it came out and it is my lightweight go to lens for walking around in the city and using my infrared-converted camera...
