I've been slowly amassing "Small Rig" components for my R5 to turn it into a cinema camera. Today I put it all together and it works seamlessly ....................

Are you recording on to the monitor? Does that help stop the R5 from overheating?
Yes, on the NinjaV and in camera . The NinjaV eliminates the 29 minute recording limit and supposedly helps with overheating, but I have never had that problem.
