A few weeks ago I was fishing for a few days, where I met and managed to photograph this rather sad looking Fox.
He had a serious injury to its hind leg, maybe had a run in with a Badger or a Dog. It was obviously impacting his hunting skills
and he looked rather malnourished. I gave up some sausages and a few other bits and bobs for him to eat. He was wary of humans
but didn't appear scared. Just kept his distance. I hope he survives.

Nice shots Nick. Fingers crossed that your sausages give him a boost. It's a hard life being a fox especially around by us where the hunt likes to chase them.
