View from a 1928 Ford 5-AT-8 Trimotor (The Tin Goose).
This plane, tail number N9645, landed on a tour of the country at our local regional airport and gave rides to paying customers. This plane from Transcontinental Air Transport is currently owned by Liberty Aviation Museum in Port Clinton, Ohio.
Of note regarding the Ford Tri-Motor, are a couple notable pilots were Charles Lindbergh, Amelia Earhart, also Richard Byrd and his crew were the first to fly over the South Magnetic Pole.
