Lens looks great but huge. Tempting, but too big, alas. canonrumors.com shows what it likely looks like. I may rent one, but.....

POTN claims to be clossing before the end of the year. An amazing resource about to be lost. The announcement I found at canonrumors.com. Could not ffind a mention at POTN.

If I needed the DOF I'd get an 85mm. With IBIS/IS and modern NR AI apps I need don't one more stop of speed. Like stated looks heavy. Looks like internal zoom which is appealing but I'm just guessing about that. It will meet someone's needs. IQ will likely be good but I'm pretty happy with my RF 24-105 L F4.
