The first 2 pictures are of the same Red-shafted female, which is the colour you see on the underside of her wings and tail. The third one is a male that is a from a Red-shafted parent and a Yellow-shafted parent. Under his wings and tail he is yellow showing he is partly Yellow-shafted and the red mustache is a characteristic of a Red-Shafted male. Red-shafted, Yellow-shafted and combinations are all categorized as Northern Flickers.

Lovely photos, and very informative. I really like their little heart-shaped spots, they're like little bokeh balls. :giggle:
