I was wondering if anyone else uses the Voice Memo feature? It didn't come with the R so when the R5 came out with it I found it useful for recording something that isn't easily obtained, like: "6-Stop ND filter".

This is a feature I wish my body (R6II) had, but alas, it does not.

Huh? Are you saying that you can record an audio file that gets assigned to the specific picture? Like it record from the cameras internal mic and keeps it with that photo?

I’ve never even heard of that feature before.

Now I want it on my R6 mkII also.

No, but if I could remember to use this feature it would save me from taking images of my hands showing various 'ingenious coded signals' as a note taking substitute (and then later trying - and usually failing - to remember what these actually mean)... 😂

Good reminder this exists - will try harder next time out... :)

I generally use a hand to signal the beginning or ending of a sequence for things like Focus Stacking, High Dynamic Range or Panorama. Works great...as long as the photos are good.

Similar concept - I've always got my hands with me (and can generally remember where they are).
