Someone please remind me - does DxO ever do Black Friday sales for upgrading? I know they do for new users, but can't remember if it may also apply for folks who are upgrading.

Hi Craig,

Yes, DxO typically do BF deals for existing users. These used to be quite substantial (25-30%), but they've been reducing it in recent years and it's also product specific (I seem to recall it was around 16-17%-ish for PhotoLab Elite last year - I upgraded at release).

Thank you!

I predicted today or tomorrow because they released it the same time last year. Every year DXO has been releasing it sooner and IMO it was to give them some separation from BF.

At one time when it was released at the end of Oct and why pay full price. Just wait a few weeks for BF. Now you have to wonder is it worth waiting almost 3 months to save $30? Personally I wouldn’t. I’d want all the latest offerings but that is just me. If they did that for that reason it was a smart business move which I would have done. Also they get ahead of the fall competition releases.

Not me! Version 9 does everything wonderfully for me...skipping this upgrade. I use masking but dont need any of the changes in version 10.

Same here, having looked at the changes, it’s a ‘pass’ for me this year.
