Damp & dreary in Northern Virginia today, perfect for going thru my photo archives....

Back in 2012, NASA delivered the space shuttle Discovery to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center / National Air & Space Museum here in Chantilly, VA. Being that we were directly in the main flight path for Dulles airport, my entire company basically took a 2-hour coffee break to take it all in.... I took my camera and headed over to our local Costo parking lot, which had a good view of the horizon.

Beautiful archived pictures. Gotta call you a "lucky devil" for having had such an opportunity to shoot these great photos. Next time I fly and the airline wants to charge me an excess luggage fee due to over-weight on board I'm gonna show them these pictures! Just kidding!
