The Flying Scotsman on it's way to London. The bright sunshine and dark storm clouds in one direction and then bright blue sky in the other made these tricky. I think I should have dropped the exposure a bit more to get more steam detail too.

We'd all like to do his job, right?

For me it’s not the exposure I’d have picked a location with no clutter and those horrible Pway fences.

I expect you have a few suggestions for better locations, given your job? Only knew it was coming through 45 mins beforehand so went for what was available to me. Awkward light to handle too with the sun being very bright under the heavy storm clouds and almost right in front of me.

The wooden fence in your picture does look much nicer than the metal one in mine .

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
