Post up some pictures of your primary camera bag/case loaded up and ready to go.

I went to Hawaii back in July with my wife for a work convention. (We were there during the tsunami). For that trip I bought a Tenba DNA 16 Pro messenger type bag to carry my camera stuff with me on the plane, including my R6 mkII with battery grip, my 24-70 and 70-200 as well as my then new Sirui 35mm anamorphic and my Canon RF 16mm f/2.8 STM lens.

It worked well enough and accommodated the stuff I wanted to carry. But carrying it PLUS my backpack with my laptop, headphones, small audio interface, and the folders and documentation for the convention was a PITA in the airport. I decided I needed a rolling solution. So I bought yet another Pelican case (I've got three others, but they're all filled with audio gear), an Air 1535, along with a padded divider set and a laptop storage insert for the lid. It's bigger, more weight (but still only about 30 lbs), and will fit in the overhead storage as long as I'm not flying on a crappy CRJ or Embraer plane.

So here's my load out now.

R6 mkII with battery grip, RF 24-70 f/2.8, RF 70-200 f/2.8, RF 100-500 f/4.5-7.1, RF 85 f/2, RF 16 f/2.8 (inside the lens hood for the RF85mm), Laowa Argus RF35mm f0.95, and Sirui 75mm 1.6X anamorphic. Plus accessories: cables, an extra set of batteries, strap, DJI Mic MINI 2, couple of ND filters, and a Neewer shutter release. Plus my Mac Book Pro in the lid along with charger block and USB-C cables. The only thing I can't fit here is my new EL-5 flash.

It's more stuff and easier to transport than two bags on my shoulders. I can travel other items like chargers and my travel tripod in my checked luggage. I've got a variety of other camera bags for smaller, lighter trips. But I think it's enough variety and covers a wide enough aesthetic to do the things I like to do.

Let's see you main camera case or bag.

I'll need to figure out which bag to show as I work out of several depending on the gear I want to take.

Most of the time I carry the Nanuk N-PVD 15. It holds one body and four lenses plus accessories and a 14" laptop. In the bottom photo, a divider on the right allows me to stack two small-ish lenses (e.g. 10-20mm, 24-105mm, 8-15mm). Two outside pockets hold water bottles, and external straps let me carry a rolled up jacket or travel tripod. (I also have a rolling suitcase, a backpack, and a small sling that I use less often.)

Like a lot of us here, I have a large collection of bags; a couple of daily drivers, some special purpose bags, some tried and abandoned, some just taking up space.

This is my main bag, a Think Tank Retrospective 10. It holds 2 FF bodies with lenses attached, plus 2 or 3 spare lenses. If I'm shooting outside, which is mainly, this kit with handle anything short of super reach. (I have a different bag and kit for that.) This bag is pretty heavy, though. Anything not currently being used is dead weight on my shoulder. So, I don't actually carry this bag much. Most of the time is stays in the car, and I'll pull out 2 bodies and 2 lenses, which is often a full kit, and just carry those naked; sans bag.

I also have a TT Retrospective 7, which is smaller and more comfortable to carry. That bag will hold one body with a lens, and 1 or 2 extra lenses. That's the bag I use when walking and shooting with a bag.

So, that's my shooting style. I keep both shoulders occupied, either with 2 bodies and 2 lenses or 1 body with a lens mounted plus a bag with spare lenses.

Both are for local travel. Fortunately the labels are black. If they were white/grey then I would have had to do something about it.

This one I use at home.

This one one for travel on planes. I pack it full of cloths/personal items, put it inside the big suitcase and check it in.

For carry on I use this and a small camera backpack style bag the just meets the personal size restrictions for the plane. I put lenses in cheap lens pouches and bodies in padded cases for the under seater. Other gear goes into the camera backpack. Mine is black. My wife liked it so much she got a pink one for her own stuff.
