My sister and her husband rent a house in a village in Provence every year and invited us to come along for 2 weeks. We are flying in business class so carryon is as generous as it can be given what security allows. I decided to take my Canon R as it is full frame and has a nice size sensor. I'm leaning towards primes, my photography shouldn't be too rushed and I find with prime lenses I think more about the shot before clicking the shutter. So the RF 16mm f/2.8 and 35mm f/1.8 as well as the 50mm f/1.8. I will also toss in the EF 24mm f/2.8 pancake lens. I'm taking one zoom for distance shots, the RF 70-200mm f/4. The usual accessories, like my 2 GP-E2 GPS units, tripod and ball head, various filters and lens hoods, a Platypod for any really low angle shots and also my DJI Mavic Air drone for some aerials. My travel bag is a Lowepro Flipside Sport 20L AW. Big enough to hold the gear and be comfortable for travel and easily fits in the overhead. I carry a small computer bag for my laptop, travel necessities like noise cancelling headphones, tablet, phone, passport and some Euros among a few other things.

Nice holiday plan and your gear list sounds great. Do NOT forget the adapter for the EF 24 pancake. We just returned from Italy and I forgot my adapter for the EF S 10-18mm. Had to shoot with RF 18-150 only!!

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
