Northern Lights 20.01.2026 form Poland

Here are some of my images that were made on the 20.01.2026 magnetic storm. They were made in soutern Poland.
I started photographing at 21:30 when aurora started to show at the north on images. At the begining it was only -10°C but it started to drop quickly and when there was the biggest hit of aurora temperature dropped to -18°C. So the batteries was dying very fast and glad that i have taken the battery adapter and could power the camera from powerbank.
If i remember correctly the best show of light started at 23:00 and lasted about 20min. Everything was visible by naked eyes and all sky on the north was glowing in three layers of red and green, and the green belt went from west through overhead and to the east, and later even vere some hints of oragnge colour in the red area of the aurora This is the first time in my life when i saw such thing in my location. Previous auroras havent beed so powerfull.

Those two last images was made by DJI Mini 5 Pro drone. It was set to max 3200ISO and 2s exposure .
