I am actually very happy with my current 24-240. I bought it for a travel lens, as I travel 6 to 8 months out of the year for work and get out on weekend sight seeing. Most of the time this is the only lens I take with me since purchasing it. Depending on what I plan to see ahead of the trip I...
Not really that I don't trust my cards, but when you have a card go bad in the middle of using it and lose a few hundred photos you will want that second card as a backup. That's why I always go RAW and JPG to both cards.
It can get old at times, but I enjoy it. Get to see a lot I wouldn't otherwise. Work during the week and the weekends are mine. Was talking with my manager today and found out I may be going out of country for a few trips, which wouldn't bother me a bit.
I copy them over to my laptop that goes with me, plus I have enough cards that I can leave them on the two cards (I always record Raw and JPG to both cards) until I get home.
Out of the lenses listed I think you will find the 24-105 will be your most used lens for the trip. I would definitely take it and the 16 for wider shots. Depending on what you are planning to see the 100-400 would be the third lens I took.
I travel between 6 and 7 months out of the year for...
I have both the 24-105 L and the 24-240. I travel a lot for work, and enjoy getting out on weekends and seeing new things which is why I picked up the 24-240. Most times that is the only lens I take with me, unless I have specific plans where i may ant something longer, or wider but 95% of the...
I travel for work about 6 months out of the year, and while I have the R6 vice the R5 I normally take just one lens and that is the RF 24-240. If I do take a second lens, depending on my weekend plans, it is the RF 4-35L. This combo covers just about everything that I want to do. I did bring the...

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but right click the photo and go to properties (the EXIF). Under the details tab scroll down until you get to Advance Photo and there will be one that gives you the Exposure Program. Hope this helps.
Excellent shot. I like it as it, and would not change a thing. I can see your point in having someone in the photo, but myself I am one that will wait until I can get the scene with no one in it if possible. But again, very well done.
First let me say...Outstanding shot. If referring to the RF 24-105 F/4L it is an outstanding lens, but as to whether it would work out better for you then the 35 I cannot answer, as I've never tried the 35. When it comes to the 50 Prime, if referring to the RF version $2300 is to much. B&H has...
Thanks for the complement. I really like the R6. It does everything I need or want, and then some. I have been with Canon since 2005 (Minolta prior to that) and it is by the the best of the ones I have used. Usually if something doesn't come out right it's me and not the camera.
Hello from Virginia. I have been into photography for about 20 years now, played around with different cameras before this time frame. I consider myself an armature, who every so often gets a really good shot. I started out with Minolta during their film days, and when getting into digital I...
