I either take my XT3, which is a superb piece of equipment or my M5, which is also excellent. My R5, and in the past, 1DX, stayed home. So, no you're not traitor, pragmatism wins.
I have the basic adapter and the button is jammed and therefore I can't get it off my ef lens.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you unjam the adapter. Thanks in advance.
About 10 years ago, I came across a blog on how to create wide-screen images using a cinema anamorphic lens. So I decided to try it myself. I love having to set up the image capture carefully out in the field. Takes time and care to achieve. It's actually pretty straightforward. However...
Thanks Hali. It's taken a combination of EF 85mm 1.8 + ISCO Ultra Star 2.4 (a cinema projector lens) clamped on the front, to create an anamorphic image. I really like the look it produces.

I've bought third party batteries for my Fuji cameras, but I've stuck with Canon with my 1DX and R5. If buying a £3000+ camera body I think one should be able to afford to buy the genuine batteries. But each to their own no business of mine what other people do with their money. I won't risk...
