Personally I prefer the colour (no apology for UK spelling). I feel the monochrome loses a bit, but on its own is still a good image.

I like the color, too. Both are excellent photos, but the color jumps out at me.

I'd have the carousel itself in colour and all other elements (background/ foreground/ mirror reflections) in B&W.

(However, Karen would tell me to stop messing about and stick with the full colour. So we go with colour... ).

This image with colour is much more engaging than the one without. The colour one makes me want to look around the frame, the monochrome one doesnt.

I like the color more as well. But, maybe a higher contrast B&W might be worth exploring.
