I think that photography is a very good marriage of technology (science) and art. There are those that live individually in each world, and the really good ones live in both worlds. I think of our colleague Dean and his technologically advanced cardboard and duct tape tube eclipse viewing device. Then he turns around and delivers some really beautiful photos that are of the highest artistic quality, in my opinion. Science and art, all in one package.
