So I buy this fancy and very expensive upgrade to my 5D Mark IV, which I love and will keep on as a backup. Since purchasing and adding ancillary equipment, I have had only a few portrait sessions and ability to "get out" much because of the weather we've been experiencing in the Houston, TX area. I've had to put off a few portrait sessions in lieu of Mother Nature's shenanigan's. It didn't help that I had a reasonable 3 week delay because of my mother's passing.

Although, we DID stop on the way back Pearland in Destin, FL for 1 night so I could shoot photos of my daughter, who coincidentally graduated high school YESTERDAY. Gotta say that the weather was ridiculously awesome! I happened to have had success there even though the time was limited (overnight and early morning).

So now, we are back to being wet with more rain. I JUST WANT TO SHOOT!!

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
