Going though MacBook and deleting photos and quite a few duplicates in various folders etc

Time consuming guess theres a programme that searches for duplicates and removes one clik method but maybe not

And some edited saved photos are in a few folders as well.

Presume nobody else on here has a jumble like this

Photo management is a never-ending task.

I've tried (with limited success) to cull each day's shoot by saving only those images that have potential. The rest get nuked. I've also starting sorting/organizing the files into weekly/monthly 'save' folders for future reference. Copies of photos in progress/needing more go into 'working' (raw original stays in Save) and those that are keepers go into 'Final'. I do this for each of my cameras (Canon, Sony Nikon, Fuji).

LOL, just describing this is exhausting - I need more coffee!

I feel your pain. I culled about 1,500 photos down to 400, and I still have some junk. During that process, it dawned on me that what I thought at the time was “art” turned out to be just a picture of a bunch of trees. I’m going to sit down and have a talk with my ego, and explain that not every picture I take is worthy of hanging in a museum. There is a delete button on the computer, and I need to learn to use it.

Some of horse show images so so similar but different shows

Also did a you tube video as well
