Sasanqua are more sun tolerant than other species, within limitations. I have to keep these undercover for all but a couple of months in winter. Formal structure and non-scented (like most Camellias). Single image, off camera flash, minimal processing thru DarkTable.

The Camellias around here pollinate from ants crawling all over them. Do yours pollinate the same?

No ants worth mentioning around here, but my local bees love my place for the number of Camellias I have and the long flowering times from the different species. It becomes difficult to image a Camellia with half a dozen bee butts sticking out.
