Canon can and will do what they want wether we agree or not. Im happy in the system got what I want good for 10 years or till death do us part.

I agree with a lot of what the article states, but I still think that Canon might have sold more cameras if it would have opened up to 3rd party full-frame lenses. Yes, they might not have sold as many Canon lenses, but maybe their overall sales would have been higher. I know a few photographers who were longtime Canon owners who switched to Sony primarily because of the lack of 3rd party lens support. For them, it was about flexibility and freedom of choice.
