Deals Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 SSC at Goodwill

I recently purchased a Canon FD/FL 55mm f/1.2 on Ebay for $150 and it's a fantastic lens. Goodwill has the 50mm f/1.4 SSC version starting at $15 (plus shipping).

This is why I keep tabs on Goodwill auctions. For a little risk and a little money (with a dash of discipline) you can get great deals on photo gear.

Items I did buy from Goodwill:

• Minolta MD 28mm f/2.8, $15
• Nikon F 50mm f/1.4, $45

Items I was previously watching but did not buy:

• Helios-44M-4 58mm f/2 in M42 mount sold for $78
• Olympus G.Zuiko Auto-W 35mm f/2.8 sold for $78

I have the 50mm f/1.4S.S.C. and the 28mm f/2.8. Tomorrow I am picking up a FD 800mm f/5.6 S.S.C (Feb 1977)... stay tuned.

Their prices are much, much higher than Goodwill (Hunting).
