Some photos from the 2026 Bridgeport, CA, 4th of July festival. It was my first outing with the FD-mount 55mm 1.2. I wanted to take more, but one of my teeth was desperately in need of a root canal and my endurance was limited by the painkillers. Fun times.

I am amazed how well the FD lenses adapt to mirrorless cameras. I have the f/1.4 version and I was wondering if your f/1.2 is the AL version?

No. I have the FL55mm that was introduced in July 1968. It looks like the FD55mm AL version came out in 1971, and was then followed by SSC versions.

No. I have the FL55mm that was introduced in July 1968.

Silly me. I thought since you stated it was a FD mount that you meant FD and not FL.

It was my first outing with the FD-mount 55mm 1.2.

All I know is I have an FD-to-RF adapter that adapts both FL and FD lenses.
