That was quick. The R6 III already has a new firmware version: 1.0.1.

It addresses some instances where CFexpress cards can not be formatted in-camera.

Has anyone with the camera already had any issues with formatting CFexpress cards?

Thanks. My old Lexar worked and the new one - 528 Gold 3000 sustained write speed worked. I just tried the new one a few hours ago. That is one that is listed on this site. I’ll install it anyway.
