The latest firmware for the Canon R6 II is now version 1.3.0 which was released on Dec 5th, 2023

This firmware includes the following enhancements and fixes:
  1. Adds support for RF-S10-18mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM lens.
  2. Fixes minor issues.
If the camera’s firmware is already version 1.3.0, there is no need to change the firmware.

The firmware can be downloaded from Canon's Support Sites.
