Canon R7 Canon R7 Advanced User Guide

Anyone else notice that with each new Canon camera they still use the pictures of the same ladies for the instruction books? This lady must be a grandmother by now!

What we need is an AF Focus Guides for R series bodies. As far as I can remember the 7D2 and the 1DX III had that last ones. Invaluable info. I really expected one for the R3. It seams that Canon is relying on owners to share best practices.

Actually this is pretty good as an addition to the user manual. The DXIII is a hybrid but has the same menu systems. While I did not have a 1DX II, I often used its AF guide to set up my 7D2. The 7D2 has an AF Guide but the 1DX II is more refined. Better explanations of with the case numbers and parameters do.

Some of the terminology is different but it does the same thing. For example they call Switching Tracked Subjects - Subject Tracking Settings. I've been waiting for the R3 AF Guide as those guides have more detail. It's been a while since I looked. Might be out?
