I have a big problem with my R7 with Tamron 150 600 G1. Shutter always stuck ! It won't take picture.Need to pullout battery, just to restart .Turn off Silent Shutter in settings but still the same .
Tried to update the firmware to ver1.3 still the same . Any tips or solutions?

Will probably never work on the R7. I have the G2 and the AF motor just to slow for the R7. I also have the Tamron 15-30 2.8 G2. No problems. The Canon EF 100-400 II, My go too lens for the R7. You will never miss the 150-600. I also use a Peak design shoulder strap, with one end attached to the lens. The R7 seems a little Whimpey for such a heavy lens so let the lens hold most of the weight.

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
