I had an old G1 Tamron 150-600 mount to Canon R7. My problem is everytime i click the shutter botton it always stuck in orange light even turn off. I'm force to pullout the battery. I go to R7 menu and turn off "Silent Shutter function " . Problem still the same...any experience photographers give some tips to make it work?

Hello there. I am a new user on this forum and was about to post this exact same question when I saw it has already been asked. However, I don't see any replies to it. Were you ever able to determine cause and correct it so the Tamron lens would work with R7?

It might be a firmware issue. I own the G2 lens and I know there have been some posts about issues with the auto focus pulsing in and out as it searches for a focal point. My lens has not had this issue but I know Tamron suggests making sure you have the most up to date firmware. You might try contacting Tamron technical support.

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
