Canon R8 Canon R8 Firmware Update Version 1.1.0

The latest firmware for the Canon R8 is now 1.1.0

Firmware Version 1.1.0 incorporates the following enhancements and fixes:

1. Adds support for the Software Development Assistance Kit (EDSDK/CCAPI).
2. Fixes minor issues.

If the camera’s firmware is already Version 1.1.0, it is not necessary to update the firmware.

The firmware can be downloaded from Canon's Support Sites. US / Europe

I've just got an R8 with 1.0.0 ... UK ... camera is fine. Is everyone happy with the latest version ?

Updated mine this morning as well, super easy process. This was the post that came up in a Google search and initially brought me to this forum, so I figured I ought to confirm that I finally actually performed the update!
