I really enjoy the minimum focus distance of the RF telephotos almost as much as I enjoy the reach. CR3 files processed and converted in DPP4.

I just managed to snag a great deal on this lens from a local dealer. Picked it up in pristine condition (except a very small scuff on the foot) for just $1800! I also bought the RF 1.4x from the same seller for just $200! $2000 total and no tax! That's $1646 less than new at any of the main online stores when you factor in tax. I've only had it a couple of days, so haven't quite mastered it yet, but here are a few images I've managed to get.

One of my very first images with teh new lens. This beautiful Bullock's Oriole showed up the morning after I bought the lens.

Thank you. The photo was taken in southern Alberta. They live mostly in the west of Canada and the US. They are Icterids, related to orioles, red-winged blackbirds, grackles, and meadowlarks.

Adobe sure doesn't like stacking images where the file size exceeds 4 GB.

Here is the results of 51 CR3 (28.8MB files each) - converted to Tiff (256 MB file each) and saved as a 17.3GB PSB file.

Any hope of the SpaceX impact?
