Windy / grey skies - hand held and waiting for that brief pause in the wind - love the way the R3 and 100mm handle the colours.

Wonderful Macros Ed. What lighting did you use on these?
Hi, Bryan. Sorry for the late reply - just saw your message now. I used diffused flash for these shots. An on-camera speedlite is directed to a fan-shaped translucent sheet of plastic affixed to the front of the lens.
 
Just started experimenting with my recently acquired RF100mm F2.8L macro lens and have been having issues because of the limited depth of field at wide apertures so I thought I'd take some shots to see how it changes. I hope others find them interesting. The next step is to get into focus bracketing.
