So what features would people like to see added to the RP either via firmware update or a new RP Mark II. Obviously one needs to be realistic about what's possible to add via firmware, there certainly won't be an increase in megapixels. Thanks to @Greg for suggesting this thread.

I would like the focus when set to one point to stay in the centre instead of randomly moving to the edge of the screen.
Using 1.6 firmware and still an issue. Please fix it Canon

I know the R5 doesn't have sound to tell you when the shutter button has been fully pressed when using the electronic shutter. Is that the same on the RP and other R series cameras? It is definitely needed.

On all the MkII R series they need a safety catch on the shutter button. Too easy to press it fully. With it set to 20 fps it will fill up memory in no time. Needs to be something simple like the latch on the 24 240 zoom. Or an accessory that flips on/off to cover the button.

Yep that is pretty annoying. Same with my R5. Although I find it normally happens because I've hit the touchscreen with my nose or something, so I'll often disable the touchscreen if I don't need it for anything.
