Aviation CF-18 at CIAS 2025

I sure do love airshows. My dream as a kid was to fly a CF-18. Now I just try to take the best photo of one that I possibly can.

Oh yeah. Every time one flies by I say I want one. As a kid I remember the Voodoo's and wanted one too but I only got a model. They had a very distinctive sound.

Nice work I love airshows too.They cancelled the one in our province this year. Very disappointing as I never miss it. They never said why but I suspect the heavy unpredictable smoke from the forest fires was the reason. Last year I got the CF-18 painted blue/red and the Maple leafs. Lancaster as well. It was fun.

Yes, the cool paint jobs of the actual CF-18 demo team were always fun. I have some other photos of liveries from years past that I quite liked. Now that they've stood that team down as of the end of 2024, we're only getting the tactical demos with the standard paint. Fortunately, though, I still think it's really cool, in a functional kind of way.
