Shooting macro's with the rf 100mm and this fella just strolls right past - couldn't even get him all in frame - mother nature had a field day with the paint selection tray ;-)

What kind of feathered creature is that? The colors almost look fake, like some extreme color grade done in post.

Certainly every colour you can think of, def show up more in direct sunlight but trust me - all the colours are real - it's a 'Ring necked pheasant' very common here and undoubtably one of the worst at crossing the roads - see more of these poor guys hit by cars than any other ;-(
