A trip back in time (literally) with some R Images from a visit (in 2019) to Coughton Court, Alcester, Warwickshire, England.

(Shot raw and processed using: DxO PhotoLab Elite/ ViewPoint and Adobe Lightroom Classic/ Photoshop).

That's quite the stately estate. Nicely captured.
Hi David,

Cheers - much appreciated! It's a fascinating place to wander around, with an equally fascinating history and beautifully tended gardens/ grounds.

When we drove past recently the front was covered in scaffolding/ tarpaulin - presumably ongoing conservation work and hopefully only temporary.

(It deserves another visit at some point with our current camera tech).

Wonder photos and a great deal of English history all in one place.

Hi Mike,

That's very kind of you - much appreciated!

For such a neat, tidy and placid looking place, Coughton Court certainly has an intriguing and dynamic history.
