Canon R5 Current pricing

Gosh the original mark 1 was on sale here apparently for $3450 yesterday I could find it only a handful of stock went quickly maybe.
Quite good value you guys seeing it around the world as well?

I did the AUD to USD conversion and $3450 there = $2400 here. I checked retailers on Canon Price watch and a new R5i is selling for $2599 pretty much everywhere, so yours is a decent price.

Six bricks-and-mortar retailers sampled (linked from the Canon UK website as "partners").

Five have a price of £2849. One has a price of £2799.

PS other prices a couple hundred above matches you guys.
Despite updated models and Nikon and Sony releasing cameras its still darn good camera, mines still going strong at over 700,000 err until it isn't

It always becomes a little difficult in comparing prices in differing countries. There is always the effect of locally implemented purchase taxes (which do vary quite a bit and verge into the arena of politics).



Stripping out the UK's purcase tax the underlying price is 2374 UKP, which using exchange rates of 2SF equates to 3137 USD and 4516 AusD

(I suppose this is why the "grey import" market has a place)

My favorite camera shop here in Germany has it for 2399€ which converts to 3946 AUD. So basically the same price.
