The goal was to find a fast 85mm that I could adapt to the Canon R5m2 and the Fuji GFX. The Rokinon f/1.4 in Sony A mount didn't fit either of the adapters I purchased (Kipon or Fotodiox) because the adapters were for autofocus lenses and the lens is manual focus. The pictures below illustrate the problem. The adapters have a slot-and-tab arrangement that mirrors the Sony autofocus mount. The Rokinon (aka Samyang) does not, but none of the items I bought mentioned that there are two different flavors of the mount. Live and learn...
Join me, vicariously, on a photographic snipe hunt: one affordable 85mm f/1.2 that fits my Fuji GFX and Canon R5m2. 
Now that I have the Fujifilm GFX 100s, I've been hunting for vintage lenses, and the latest quest was for an 85mm f/1.2 that I could adapt to the Fuji and the Canon. Since I already have the EF-RF adapter, the obvious choice was the Canon EF 85mm f/1.2 L II. Lens in excellent condition: $900. EF-GF autofocus adapter: $500. Total cost: $1400 plus tax.
Ouch. I couldn't justify that, especially since I just got the RF 45mm f/1.2 from B&H and my wife just...
