There is the first shot using the Good ($3899 camera) with a Bad ($13.99 lens).

R5 with EF-RF adapter and Holga 60mm f/8 lens.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly?

Try wiping the Cosmolene off the front element. That’s just for shipping purposes.

A rust-inhibitor on plastic? 😂

You never know how much melamine and lead and other suff like metal can be in that plastic. They could have rearranged the atoms to cloak it. Don't lick it to clean it :) I checked out and that lens is made in Hong Kong. Never knew that. Been there three times and one of our favourite cities. It has been quite a few years since out last visit.

Have you tried running it through something like Photo AI? I kept Topaz Sharpen AI around for these moments. All this new AI stuff is saving me thousands in lens purchases. If I won a lottery I'd get me an RF600 f/4 but I no longer covet it.

@Only RF here is what the lens actually looks like: Front View - Back View - Back to Front View

There is the main aperture opening along with 8 smaller aperture that ring the main aperture.

I haven't licked it yet, because it doesn't smell like bacon.

Second Light ~ Five images stacked HDR. CR3 files were used as I discovered IBIS JPEG files wouldn't stack using HDR in Lightroom.

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
